hello everyone,
im sure this is on forums somewhere but i just cant find it after searching for like 2 1/2 days
here is the deal when i started playing back 10 years ago i used the ( out-of-game tools ) like
EVEMON
EFT
MIN CAL
EVE-MEEP
and a few others
not i stopped playing around 2008 and returned like on this past Saturday or so and well im tiring to get them programs to work again but they will not load character data...i get server status but it don't show that i am even training a skill ( but i am )
i have made new API KEYS for character and for the all type and tried both to no avail
in some of the programs i get the error that the connection was closed and more like that
not sure what to do here but......
i did see somewhere that the API is disabled due to servers being repaired or replaced , and that also the old API is being don't away with an replaced with the new one.....( an yes i even got my old API and tried them as well and didn't work )
now what im asking is this .....
if anyone has information that will help me get these programs to work again (( that's if they are still allowed to be used ))
please link me to some information ......
i have searched each tools web page for help and found nothing dealing with my issues

did that already like 5 times,
the current key works perfect with battle clinic and all , and in the programs i get server status but just no charcter data at all not even name |

With the recent patches I've had to completely reinstall some applications in order to get them to work properly.
So long as you make a backup of your settings, and the installation procedure has been set up in a decent manner then no settings should be lost.
However if the application version you used the last time is so ancient that the settings format itself has changed then you may have to set things up again including API's

From what i can tell i have the newest version of each app, i do not see any updat or added files or anything....going to fire 1 up an trll what error im getting
using
EVEMON

and here tells me its the newest version

ok first off...
my keyboard batts was dieing so it used caps on its on ( nothing i could do )
2,,, whats this thing about the new order of high sec???
and 3rd...ROFLMFAO RAGE QUIT..... try real life work ( i got called back to a old job driving a simi to west coast and Alaska..... and them trips take over 1 1/2 to 3+ weeks depending on dest and well i would rather be getting 4,500$ a week then to have to settle for the 700$ a week i was making and get to play eve every night
an another note to the rage quit, i was CEO and ALLIANCE EXECUTOR in this game for the longest so yea
so in short i didnt rage quit, i had a real life
and again whats this stuff about high sec, i havent had time to read everything yet so,,, still tring to catch up
and that time i ment to use caps
and come at me???? na dont think so but if you wish to try im game i dont back down just make sure to have some good music going LOL
but would rather to just enjoy game but o well still like it use to be in 2003 ppl like to run off at the mouth and try to start stuff and drop to a kids level of thinking an call names

this game needs age restrictions like we talked about in the beta with the devs an all |

ok been doing some research.......
nothing really healpful comes up on this HIGH SEC stuff.......
someone please point me to the right place iv checked patch notes and more but nothing really healpful...
question tho
i see people get podded and pod killed in 0.6 / 0.5 / and 0.8
is this something to do with that and whats the changes where this can be done
